Learn To Dance

Jim & Margie have been full-time dance professionals for over 10 years straight.  They've taught folks of every age, skill level and learning style to dance with tons of success.  So if you find yourself saying "oh, I can't dance.  I have 2 left feet."  2toGroove classes are perfect. 

Come see why 2toGroove is so high on everyone's referral list.  Our students love to refer their friends and family.  We care deeply that all our students "get it."  Classes are high energy, entertaining and chock-full of helpful tidbits to make sure you're dancing your way out the door.  We make it our mission that students really understand and internalize what we teach and not just copy what we do.  Our series are progressive because we find it's the most effective way to learn.

Friday classes before JAM
Friday nights before the JAM dance we host 3 fun dance workshops simultaneously.  Each of the 3 ballrooms gets filled with dancers learning:

Swing 101: total beginner east coast swing/Jitterbug.  Simple footwork and basic turns.  Gets you quickly dancing with everyone and having a good time with your friends.  FROM 8:45-9:30pm (upstairs)


Swing 102: intermediate east coast swing/Jitterbug.  Still features straight forward footwork, but gets you really cooking with fancier patterns.  Great if you know your total basics but haven't danced for that long yet.  FROM 8:00(sharp!) - 8:45pm

Swing Variety Pak: dance workshops with a different focus every week.  Most workshops are geared for intermediate+ swing/lindy dancers, but we'll often feature tasters for different dances that are great for all levels. FROM 8:00(sharp!) - 8:45pm   Upcoming: (for August)
    8/6 - Drag blues 
    8/13 - Fast lindy
    8/20 - Lindy slow & sultry
    8/27 - Slip & Slide variations (bring slick shoes or extra socks)

*Sign up within 2 weeks prior to start.
*At door sign ups accepted based on available space.
*JAM SERIES - FRIDAY LESSON + DANCE runs monthly – 4 or 5 weeks.

PAYMENT POLICY – cash, check, credit card (online or Dance for 2 location). Class payments are non-refundable and non-transferrable to future sessions or another party. No exceptions please. Use drop in payment if you will miss more than 2 classes. Return checks subject to a $30 processing fee. Your consideration is appreciated. Jim & Margie
